Health Care Organizing Kick Off Meetings

“After decades of false starts, the dream of quality, affordable health care for every American is finally within reach. To succeed where others have failed, we must build a groundswell of support for real health care reform in every district and every state. And we have no time to lose.”- Organizing for America

This Saturday, June 6, thousands of meetings will be held across the country to build a groundswell of support for real health care reform. As of this writing, two health care meetings in the mid-Hudson Valley have been designated as *official* Organizing for America events and selected for feature by national media. We urge you to make your voice heard at these events…or even host one of your own!

Geoff Berman, coordinator with Organizing for America (OFA), will speak at this event and will be taking back the personal stories and feedback from the meeting to the White House. Congressman’s John Hall has been invited and is likely to attend.

Help organize around President Obama’s three principles that any
comprehensive health care ref orm must achieve: (1) reduce costs, (2) guarantee choice, and (3) ensure all Americans have quality, affordable health care; and decide how to make your voice heard in Dutchess County and the Mid-Hudson Valley. Refreshments will be served.
